Moments like this...

It's moments like this that make my job fun. 

It's before they even catch my eye,

before they realize they should be smiling, 

before they think to stop and pose, 

these are the moments I love to watch. 

just being a fly on the wall and capturing the pure bliss.

Those are the best. Those are the easiest.

I have had some really exciting things going on lately and I am SUPER excited to implement them into my photography!!

I was feeling really blah about where I was 

going with my business and I just needed a little somehting extra to kick things up a little...

 let me talk about this workshop I was lucky enough to attend!!

If you don't know the Cascio's, GET TO KNOW THEM!! They are quite the team. Britt is the Photographer and Bryan is sort of the "everything else" guy! What a fun Couple!!

It was a perfect way to learn because they were able to feed of eachother and were able to answer EVERY question between the two of them!! 

We spent most of our day at the beautiful riter mansion. Going over everything under the sun! I LOVED being there and getting a good feel of the place. 

We headed out for the last 2 hours to do a photo shoot. I was so awesome to see Britt just do her thing! She is incredible at what she does!

Seriously how cute are they? Want to know when the are getting married? Probably never! These two JUST met about 30 seconds before we started shooting!! WHAT!?! Maybe we will be seeing a wedding after all ;)

Thank You Britt!! I came away from your workshop with so many ideas bouncing around in my brain and so much to improve upon with my business skills!

MY baby girl...

How is it...

that when you are pregnant, 9 months feels a like a turtle's pace, 

steady and SLOW.

On May 4, 2010 I welcomed the most BEAUTIFUL little girl into our family after 9 long months.  

But here I am, 9 month's after the fact... 

and where did my tiny little baby go? 

I say this every time but man, oh man, this is my 

FAVORITE 

stage. She is DARLING!

She is still just a little petite thing. She is still just as happy as ever. She is still an amazing sleeper (at night) and she is still mine. I could not be more grateful for that!

And will you succeed?

YES! 98 3/4 % guaranteed!"

We read this book at least once a week, she loves it. 

I love it for so many reasons. There are so many lessons in that book. If you don't own it, 

it's a must!

This is her FAVORITE pose. She does this pretty much all day long! 

Hazyl very rarely cries. She is really easy going and if she does for some reason start to cry, it is almost always solved by putting her in front of a mirror. haha she doesn't like to watch herself cry!

Height: 16 lbs = 10 % 

Weight: 29 Inches= 89%

Head was in the 60%

Long and lean... as usual :)

This is her absolute favorite toy for now...

her SALLY CAR! 

She will hold onto it for hours :)

     

Hazyl has been on the move now for about a month and a half! She is a crawling maniac and is now walking around furniture and standing on her own. 

She is a very FOCUSED baby. She fixates on tiny things and is very determined to get them! 

 On the same note though...she can be distracted when we try and is ALWAYS quick to smile. 

My JOY, 

You are beautiful. You have so completely changes my world and your dad's world, all for the better. We are so lucky to have you with us! NEVER, EVER forget how much we love you.
